Jump in with a 2 hour group surf lesson at Rivermouth, Prevelly, Margaret River, mate! The Margaret River Surfing Academy team are seasoned locals ready to help you catch your first waves on Western Australia's most iconic beginner beach.
You'll get practical instruction on surf fundamentals, ocean safety, paddling, as well as tips for popping up and riding waves. All the gear is taken care of - just bring your sense of adventure.
Your instructors, led by a registered paramedic and wellbeing practitioner, will walk you through the finer points of surf etiquette and ocean awareness in a fun and friendly group atmosphere. They're all fully qualified with First Aid and Surf Rescue certifications, so you know you're in safe hands.
This experience is perfect for absolute beginners, families, and anyone aged 8 and over. Lessons take place at the Rivermouth Car Park, the very heart of Margaret River's surf scene and home of the WSL Margaret River Pro.
